In 1978, a young entrepreneur named Dion opened a small pizzeria on Central Avenue in Albuquerque, NM with one mission: serve the freshest, most honest food this city had ever tasted. Armed with a hand-written recipe book, locally sourced ingredients, and an unshakeable belief that great food brings people together, dion's was born.
What started as a one-room dions pizza kitchen quickly grew into a neighborhood institution. Families came in for Friday night dinners, students fueled late-night study sessions with our classic slices, and locals celebrated life's biggest moments around our tables. Each dion's pizza was made by hand — and it still is today.
